- Contents Packing: Safely and efficiently pack personal belongings, furniture, and other items affected by fire damage, ensuring proper documentation and inventory of each item.
- Fire Damage Cleaning: Clean and restore items, including furniture, and personal possessions, using specialized equipment and techniques to remove soot, smoke, and odors.
- Inventory Management: Track and document all items for restoration, ensuring accurate inventory records for the customer.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the restoration team to ensure the property is restored to pre-loss condition and timelines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling contents and working in affected areas.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all contents are returned to the customer in a safe and cleaned condition, maintaining high standards of restoration.
- Experience: Previous experience in fire damage restoration, contents packing, or related field preferred, but not required. On-the-job training is available.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as required, with a focus on safety.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when packing, cleaning, and restoring contents.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to keep accurate records of contents and maintain an organized work area.
- Certification: IICRC or other relevant certifications in fire damage restoration are a plus but not required.
- Drug Testing: All applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Background Check: A comprehensive background check will be conducted, including criminal history and verification of prior employment.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record is required for employees who will be operating company vehicles.
